Once there was an Entrepreneur cum Motivational Speaker in Japan. He used to pick one person every year and train them to become more successful. It will happen as a big process that goes through multiple levels of screening.
The process for that year began and three persons were chosen after the final screening. They were called into the beautiful castle of that Big shot. In that castle, the final interview will take place and one of them will be selected as the Winner. After knowing this, all three were more anxious.
The day came and the three persons A, B, and C were invited to the castle. The secretary of the big shot invited them and hosted them in three separate rooms. The secretary asked them to get ready sharp at 8:00 AM, the next day morning. They were more excited about the next precious day.
The next day morning, the secretary came and walked them to an office room. They were more eager to see what is going to happen next. The room door opened and they could see the Entrepreneur cum Motivational Speaker. This raised their excitement. They all went and stood before him.
To their surprise, the speaker called the person C and pinned a badge saying "WINNER", on his chest. The other two were quite shocked and felt that it is an injustice. Because all of them came in there for the next level of competition. Here, no such interview took place and without concern, someone has been elected as the Winner. They could not even show their disappointment in the face.
Now, the speaker looked at their face and asked them to follow him. All of them followed him puzzling with many questions in their mind.
First, the speaker took them to the room allotted to A. The room was more shabby. When it was given to him, it was very neat and tidy. In a hurry and haste to get ready, he has left it like this.
The speaker looked at his face and told him. The first quality to become a successful person in life is discipline. It doesn't mean that you need to keep your room clean. It just tells you that you need to make sure you return other's things in the exact condition they gave you. Whether they tell you are not, whether they will watch you or not. It is nothing but self-discipline. Self Discipline is the first step to success. Person A's face fell down.
Next, they all went to the room allotted to A. That room was very neat and tidy. This made person B to stand with surprise. He thought in mind "Oh Man !! Then, how did person C won it? "
The speaker looked very calm and composed. Because he has the answer.
He just proceeded and went inside the restroom. He turned on the shower. It opened smooth and they came to water. All of them looked puzzled again. They cannot understand what he is trying to say.
Now, the speaker started explaining.
This room was arranged by us for you three. Purposefully, I did a trick in these rooms. The valves in the bathroom showers were locked. But if you just look up, you can find it. No second thoughts. We were eagerly waiting to see how you guys are going to handle it.
Person A and Person B, immediately made a call to the office, when there came not water. They did not even look up or guessed what would have been the reason.
But Person C, on the other hand, looked up. He found that there is a valve and doubted that might be the reason for this waterless shower. He looked in the cabinet to see all the tools. He used it to turn on the valve and then used this shower.
This is how a successful person will be. He will analyze and find the origin of the problem and try to solve it by himself. He will take care of his issues and even petty jobs. To be a boss, smart work can help. But to stay as a successful person, only Self Discipline and Self-help will help out.
The other two men felt ashamed of themselves and learned a new lesson. I hope, you all will also feel happy to learn this little secret. I wish you to learn more like this and have a successful life.
