Reshmi’s Quarantine Birthday

Today is Reshmi’s 8th Birthday. A birthday that has more memories than usual. Of course, a quarantine birthday of a kid cannot be as always it is. 

It has more challenges for the mom and dad. For us, having a kid with extremely simple expectations is a complete blessing. But we couldn’t even make up those simple expectations this time. Nothing other than her friends.

Cake 🎂 , we can make it if cannot buy it. Dress 👗 , she feels happy with anything that makes her comfortable. Celebrations 🎊 , she always wants us to hug her and spend time with her rather having a big party that would take away our time in preparations. 

But we can never make her friends’ presence in the same way above. That is what we cannot make or substitute. Those little beautiful souls are hard to get filled with anything else. That is what we really miss in this quarantine. 

Let this all problems get settled down soon and let God bless us to use this socialization in a right way. Happy Birthday to my little girl.
